Summary
Clinical Pharmacist – Pediatrics
32 hours per week, rotating day and evening shifts with every fourth weekend commitment
Clinical Pharmacist providing care to patients within Pediatric and Maternal/Fetal care areas from the dedicated pediatric pharmacy satellite. Pediatric services at the Herman and Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai include a 21 bed level III NICU, PICU, pediatric unit, pediatric ED and newborn nurseries. Responsibilities beyond patient care activities include areas of formulary management, drug information, practice advancement, process development and coordination of associated EHR enhancements. The successful candidate may pursue opportunities to serve as a mentor and educator for pharmacy residents and/or pharmacy students, train and provide education for pharmacy staff, and collaborate with pediatric medicine residents and healthcare professionals across other disciplines.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Registered Pharmacist in Maryland
