POSITION PURPOSE
The position of HVAC Technician is critical to Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
Pay - $28-$40 hourly
Take Home Truck, No nights/weekends
DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General duties 100%
- Perform residential and commercial service calls independently with high accuracy.
- Perform test & fire off procedures of AC/Heat pumps, AHU’s, RTU’s, ERV’s, ventilation equipment accurately & efficiently.
- Perform final punch and quality check of mechanical rooms AC/Heat pumps, AHU’s, RTU’s, ERV’s, ventilation equipment.
- Appropriately identify problematic calls and utilize HVAC Project Manager / Superintendent as needed for efficient time and cost management strategies.
- Communicate with the Project Manager / HVAC Project Manager at the beginning and end of every day / service call and any schedule changes throughout the day ensuring team productivity is being observed.
- Coordinate materials, parts and equipment needed through Project Managers.
- Understand and display compliance with R.T. Moore Quality Standards and Best practices.
- Ensure the service vehicle provided will be clean and well maintained with the appropriate parts stocked and well organized ensuring that parts used will be tracked daily.
- Prompt submission of accurate and legible service invoices and time sheets.
- Will be available for OOT assignments as required.

- 4 years of experience preferred
- EPA certification required
- NATE certification preferred but not required at this time
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Exposed to outdoor weather conditions including rain, humidity, snow, wind, cold, and heat.
- Willing and able to work on out of town/out of state projects as needed
- Capable and willing to wear jobsite specific personal protective equipment and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in the following environments: outdoor weather conditions, very loud, wet or humid conditions, working near mechanical parts, working in high precarious places, working in awkward and/or confining work spaces, possible inhalation of fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock and vibrations. *Please note these are possible occurrence not necessarily an everyday event.
