Summary:
The main function of a marketing manager is to research market conditions within digital advertising and conduct monthly competitive analysis, industry analysis, and product intelligence research. This includes but not limited to Search, Advertising, News, Browser, Advertising Technology, and Marketing technology. A typical marketing manager is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Market Research support for product planning
- Ad-Hoc deeper analysis on significant releases by Google/Facebook/Amazon, and other relevant market players
- Monthly Competitive Analysis Deck
- On-going Consulting support for past research
- Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
- Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of digital advertising, search, and marketing technology.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 products (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Word, Teams, and Sharepoint).
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
- 5-7 years related experience required.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $44.23 to $49.14 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
