Location: Dedham, MA | Setting: Residential Program | Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, rotating weekends)

About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering direct, patient-centered care to individuals working toward recovery from eating disorders and co-occurring conditions. You’ll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and dietitians to support holistic healing.
Schedule:
Full-Time (32 or 40 hours per week)
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities Include::What You’ll Do:
Take full responsibility for the quality of nursing care delivered to patients, including assessment, teaching, counseling, and collaboration with the treatment team.
Perform thorough nursing assessments considering each patient’s medical history, age, mental and physical status, and social factors.
Monitor vital signs, identify and report abnormalities, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
Administer medications and treatments safely and document all interventions accurately in the medical record.
Develop individualized crisis plans and contribute to the overall master treatment plans alongside clinicians and dietitians.
Support a safe, therapeutic environment by conducting regular patient rounds and participating in community meetings and group therapy as needed.
Advocate for patients and provide them and their families with education and tools for long-term recovery.
Maintain the medication administration record (MAR) and ensure PRN medications are administered appropriately.
Serve as charge nurse when assigned, demonstrating leadership and sound clinical judgment.
