The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. As a vital part of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
What you will do in this role:
Lafayette Regional Health Center is a 25+ bed critical access hospital. Our hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission. We are known for compassionate and high-quality acute and outpatient medical care services in a small-town environment. We operate three physician clinics throughout Lafayette County. Patients enjoy the comfort of knowing they’re receiving quality healthcare in their hometown. We are located in historic Lexington, Missouri, 50 miles east of Kansas City. Our hospital is part of HCA Healthcare Midwest Health, a network of hospitals in Kansas City and the surrounding areas.
