Job Summary and Qualifications

As Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab Nurse, you are responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to adult patients having cardiac catheterization procedures as well as care for patients having specialized radiology procedures. This includes both the prep and recovery of these patients.

• You willmonitor, record, and manage baseline vitals and changes in patient conditions pre, during and post procedure.
• You willmaintainaccurate, detailed reports and records.

• You will record patients' medical information and vital signs and any other patient care.

• You willmodifypatient treatment plans asindicatedby patients' responses and conditions.

• You will prepare patients for andassistwith examinations or treatments.

• You will administer moderate sedation under supervision and orders of the physician.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Critical care experience is required, cath lab experience is preferred but not required.
