How you'll contribute

A RN House Supervisor who excels in this role:

• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

What we're looking for

The right person will supervise daily staff activities, managing and directing nursing clinical practices and associate functions within a hospital setting. It involves planning, organizing, and controlling operations to ensure quality service, compliance with policies, and achievement of departmental goals. The position provides staffing assignments, supports and coaches staff through orientation and training, conducts performance evaluations, and addresses disciplinary actions. It also facilitates staff development, resolves complex issues and complaints, and ensures effective service delivery.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• ACLS American Heart Association or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
• PALS preferred.
• One year of experience is preferred
