Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Types of Patients on Unit: CHF, Respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, blood product administration, bipap, CVA overflow, post-cath patients - will see TR bands and the femoral approach; can see femoral sheaths but travelers will not pull them Some surgical patients – vascular, abdominal, GI, etc. Drips: diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, heparin –
Unit Details: Patient Ratios: ICU: Typically 2:1, sometimes 1:1 depending on patient acuity 2NW or Tele: 4:1 during the day, 4-5:1 @ night
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with above patient types Chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths
Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred - Art line ICU experience preferred Impella and/or IABP experience preferred
Equipment Used on Unit: Monitors: Phillips
Floating Requirements: may float to TELE, Telemetry 2EW, Med-Surg, Neurology-Medical Travelers will be first to float
Required Skills/Experience: Weekend rotation: Every other weekend On call No Holiday Expectations: Every other
Parking: Employee parking only, lot free
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - 1 required for submission
