Mason, OH 45040 • 9/19/2025

Research and Development (R&D) at Procter & Gamble includes a diverse group of roles that contribute to the innovation and development of our products. It encompasses roles in product research, formulation, testing, and scientific analysis.

The Opportunity:

Zevo Brand Insect Traps is expanding our electrical engineering team! Zevo Brand is the biggest new category to launch out of P&G's new business development group in the past 25 years and is growing rapidly in market, led by the Zevo Flying Insect Plug-In Trap. Join us at Zevo as the Senior Electrical Engineering Scientist and be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to revolutionizing pest control solutions. If you are passionate about engineering and innovation, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading electrical system design/redesign of Zevo branded devices - from upstream ideation & hands-on prototyping to downstream qualification for launch at our manufacturing partners. The scope of work will include delivering technology upgrades that attract new users to the powered-trap category and upgrades that reduce PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) cost to manufacture. You will own the electrical system upgrades for your upgrade projects across PCB, sourced components (LED, MCU, etc), and integration into assembly.

This is a highly collaborative role - working closely with manufacturing partners, the broader P&G electrical engineering team, P&G Device Safety Team, Insecticide Regulatory Compliance team, and Manufacturing partners.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of fostering collaborative relationships to achieve project goals while demonstrating agility in navigating technical challenges with undefined solutions. They should have experience managing electrical design projects, engaging technical experts, and inspiring teams toward a shared vision. Additionally, we are looking for someone that can manage multiple priorities and adapt to nontraditional project responsibilities, such as insect attraction and capture testing.
