Job Description:
The BaSE (Buildings and Systems Engineering) Specialist is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of plant floor equipment by troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting devices as needed. The role involves addressing equipment breakdowns and ensuring their timely resolution while providing guidance to Maintenance Mechanics on completing required repairs to resolve breakdown situations. Additionally, the position assists in solving daily challenges inherent in maintaining conveyors and the facility in good working order.

Wage: $27.00/Hr.
Available Shifts:
4:00 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
4:00 PM to 12:00 AM Monday through Friday
(Flexibility required to work occasional weekends & non-regular shifts, especially in peak season)
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to internal customer requests
Address facility alarms and emergencies effectively
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues
Conduct routine preventive maintenance to avoid potential disruptions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science / Engineering (or internationally comparable degree)
Programming experience, including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation, including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting – Preferred
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask
Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills
Basic research skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams
