We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team focused on the design and development of low and medium voltage electrical power distribution equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work across the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design through manufacturing, testing and final delivery; supporting custom switchboards, switchgear, and integrated power distribution solutions for a rapidly growing infrastructure market.

Job Duties Include:
- Design and develop low and medium voltage electrical equipment, including switchboards, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, bills of material (BOMs), equipment layouts, and panel drawings.
- Perform basic to intermediate power system analysis to validate system performance, safety, and compliance.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly.
- Support manufacturing by troubleshooting design issues, answering technical questions, and implementing engineering changes.
- Interface with customers and internal project teams to understand technical requirements and deliver effective engineering solutions.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable NEC, UL, customer, and industry standards.
- Participate in product testing, validation, certification, and quality assurance activities.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on product performance, reliability, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of electrical design experience, preferably in power distribution equipment, switchgear, switchboards, industrial control panels, or related products.
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems and power distribution equipment.
- Experience using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOM development.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower.
- Familiarity with UL standards including UL 891 and UL 1558.
- Experience designing control systems, PLC-based panels, or industrial automation equipment.
- Understanding of arc flash analysis, thermal management, electrical protection, and safety principles.
- Experience supporting mission-critical facilities, data centers, industrial infrastructure, or utility applications.
