The Labeling / Terminal Marker Specialist is responsible for creating wire labels, terminal markers, equipment tags, and other identification materials used in electrical control panels, switchboards, and custom electrical systems. Working from work orders, customer specifications, electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams, this position produces accurate, organized labeling kits that support efficient manufacturing and assembly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to interpret basic electrical documentation, and experienced operating industrial label printing equipment and software.

Job Duties Include:
- Create wire labels, terminal markers, equipment tags, and other identification materials according to work orders, customer specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Operate label printers, plotters, and related equipment to produce electrical labeling materials.
- Review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, work orders, and customer requirements to verify labeling needs and identify discrepancies.
- Assemble complete labeling kits by work order number and customer name, including labels, markers, tags, and related materials.
- Organize labeling kits so production personnel can quickly identify and use the correct materials for each job.
- Inspect completed labels and marker sets for accuracy, legibility, quantity, and proper formatting before releasing them to production.
- Maintain accurate records of completed labeling kits, pending work, and labeling material usage.
- Track and maintain inventory of labels, markers, terminals, printer supplies, and related materials.
- Communicate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve labeling questions, drawing discrepancies, or specification changes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and customer specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately match labels, markers, and tags to engineering documentation.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to organize materials by work order, customer name, job number, or other production identifiers.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle small parts and labeling materials throughout the workday.
- Previous experience creating wire labels, terminal markers, or similar identification materials in an electrical manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating industrial label printers, plotters, or electrical marking systems.
- Experience using Easy-Mark Plus, Vario Sign, ClearTools, PROJECT Complete Marking, Smart Script, or similar labeling software.
- Familiarity with electrical control panels, switchboards, wiring layouts, terminal blocks, wire numbering systems, and component identification.
- Experience maintaining inventory of labels, terminals, markers, printer supplies, or other production materials.
