MetroLift Van Drivers (Non CDL) - Full Time - $20.99/hr

Fully Paid Training at $20.00 per hour, $20.99 per hour after training (potential O.T.)

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Job Duties:

• Provide transportation services for people with disabilities who are unable to use regular public transit.
• Operating specialized vehicles, such as buses or vans, that are often equipped with ramps.
• Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle and the safety and comfort of passengers.
• Picking up and dropping off passengers, and accommodating passengers with mobility devices, medical equipment, and a variety of disabilities.
• Safely load and unload each passenger.
• Securing mobility equipment inside the vehicle.

Requirements:

• You MUST be 21 years of age or older
• You MUST have a TEXAS Driver's License 
• You MUST have held a license for 3 consecutive years.
• 10 years of work history is required to qualify, and employment must be verified to continue.
• You MUST be able to work Mornings, Afternoons, Overnights, Weekends and Holidays (We are open 24/7)
• You CAN only have 2 moving violations in the last 12 months or 3 in the last 36 months
• You MUST be able to pass a background check, a drug test, AND a DOT physical.
• You MUST be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout the shift and climb stairs.
• You MUST be able to lift, carry, and/or hold up to 70 lbs.
