Senior Electrical Engineer, Power Systems PE
Location: Baltimore, MD (Washington, DC metro region)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000 to $165,000 per year
Relocation: Assistance available
Lead power distribution and building systems design at an established engineering consulting firm, guiding teams and client relationships across commercial, institutional, and government projects.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Strong background in power systems and electrical infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM, ETAP, or similar tools
- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and applicable electrical codes
- Project management and team leadership experience
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
What You’ll Do
- Lead power distribution and building electrical systems design
- Manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and engineering teams
- Oversee drawings, specifications, and code compliance
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other disciplines
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership
- Support business development and proposals

- Healthcare, education, government, commercial, or industrial project experience
- Lighting, telecommunications, and low-voltage design
- Proposal writing and business development experience
Compensation and Benefits
