Manufacturing Operations Manager, Heavy Industrial

Pay: $120,000 to $150,000 per year
Relocation: Assistance available
Lead daily manufacturing in a heavy industrial plant, developing front-line leaders and driving results in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering preferred)
- 2 to 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience
- 3+ years of technical problem-solving in a manufacturing operation
- Proven ability to develop and coach front-line leaders
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Track record of improving safety, quality, and productivity
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
What You’ll Do
- Direct daily manufacturing operations aligned with business goals
- Coach and develop front-line supervisors and team leaders
- Build a zero-injury safety culture
- Ensure consistent use of Control Plans, Standard Work, and Job Safety Analyses
- Create stable, repeatable manufacturing processes
- Improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
- Translate the 1 to 3-year business plan into manufacturing initiatives
- Lead structured problem solving on technical and operational issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams on new processes and continuous improvement
Nice-to-Haves
- Engineering degree
- Lean or Six Sigma experience
- Strategic planning and new process implementation experience
Compensation and Benefits
