Looking for flexible hours, local routes, and daily home time? ProDrivers is seeking a dependable Class A Truck Driver to operate newer automatic day cabs hauling dry van freight throughout the St. Louis area.
Pay & Schedule - $26.00 per hour
- Part-Time Position
- Monday-Friday availability required
- Typically up to 20 hours per week
- 1st Shift
- Start times between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM
- Home Daily
Location Equipment - Newer Automatic Day Cabs
- Dry Van Trailers
Route Information - Local routes within a 250-mile radius
- Home daily
- Consistent daytime schedule
Truck Driver Responsibilities - Safely deliver products on local routes
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain required driver logs and documentation
- Verify deliveries with customers
- Follow all DOT and company safety standards
- Operate pallet jacks as needed
- Ensure freight is transported safely and securely
Freight Details - Approximately 80% No-Touch Freight
- Approximately 20% Driver-Assist Freight
- Pallet jack usage required
- Occasional hand unloading may be required
Driver Requirements - Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Good work history
- Strong safety record
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
