Scooter Mechanic

Lime is looking for a hands-on Scooter Mechanic to help keep our fleet safe, reliable, and ready to ride. In this role, you’ll inspect, repair, maintain, and prepare electric scooters while working efficiently and safely in a fast-paced warehouse and field environment.

What you’ll do

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues on scooters

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, battery swaps, and quality checks

Prepare scooters for deployment and remove damaged units from service

Use tools, equipment, and mobile systems accurately

Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area

Follow all safety procedures and performance standards

What you bring

Mechanical, automotive, bicycle, or electrical repair experience—or a strong willingness to learn

Comfort using hand tools and troubleshooting equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to lift, move, and work on scooters for extended periods

Dependability, teamwork, and a practical problem-solving mindset

***General Requirements***

When working in a warehouse environment through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

• Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items
• Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight
• Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
• Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
