General Manager, Cold Storage Warehouse Operations
Macon, GA (Onsite)
Lead a busy temperature-controlled warehouse through growth and a major facility expansion planned for 2027. You will own safety, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and service, and coach six direct reports. Pay is $120K to $135K base plus up to $24K in bonus.
Must-Haves
- 7+ years of warehouse or cold storage leadership, including managing supervisors in high-volume operations
- 5+ years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
- Strong international export operations and documentation experience
- Command of warehouse KPIs, labor management, inventory control, safety, and WMS
What You'll Do
- Run daily inbound, storage, and outbound operations safely and accurately
- Manage labor planning, throughput, inventory accuracy, and damage prevention using WMS and labor data
- Lead and coach six direct reports and strengthen supervisor effectiveness
- Oversee export freight execution and documentation
- Report weekly to senior leadership on safety, productivity, and inventory
- Build staffing plans and processes for the 2027 capacity expansion
