Location: San Ramon, CA
Schedule: Part-Time | 29.5 Hours per Week
School Year: 2026–2027

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join a supportive school team in the San Ramon, California area for the 2026–2027 school year.

In this role, you'll work alongside special education teachers and related service providers to help students reach their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with disabilities.
Assist with implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
Support students with academic tasks, classroom participation, and daily routines.
Reinforce positive behavior strategies and classroom expectations.
Assist with personal care needs when required by the student's IEP.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow district policies and procedures.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to pass all required background clearances.

Position Details

Hours: 29.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday during school hours
Employment Type: Contract position for the 2026–2027 school year
Competitive hourly pay: $25-30.55/hr
