Position: Controller Consultant
Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid)
Compensation: $140,000 to $160,000 annually

NOW CFO is a national outsourced accounting and finance firm. We give businesses financial clarity and visibility through experienced consultants who partner with clients on the projects that matter most: cleanups, implementations, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and everything in between.

Our Consultants are full-time W-2 employees. You'll work with a variety of clients across industries, get exposure to different systems and business models, and never get stuck in the routine of a single seat.

About the Role

We're expanding our Tulsa team and looking for an experienced Controller Consultant with a strong manufacturing background and hands on Sage Intacct experience. You'll partner with our clients to strengthen their financial operations, from GAAP compliant reporting to strategic financial guidance, and help business leaders understand what their numbers are telling them so they can make better decisions.

What You'll Do

• Own the accounting and financial reporting function for client engagements
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Develop and implement financial strategies and internal controls
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management support
• Guide clients on GAAP compliance and best practices
• Improve financial performance and clean up legacy issues
• Serve as a trusted financial advisor to client leadership

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior Controller-level experience
• Sage Intacct experience (Required)
• Manufacturing industry experience (Required)
• Nonprofit industry experience (Preferred)
• QuickBooks Online experience (Preferred)
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong GAAP knowledge and technical accounting depth
• Excellent communication skills and a client service mindset
• Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working independently
• Willingness to commute to different client sites in the Tulsa metro area
