The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication, cognitive, voice, language, speech, and swallowing disorders for patients from infancy through adulthood. The SLP collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care across multiple settings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Qualifications required for this position include the following:
Speech Language Pathologist will work Monday through Friday, no major holidays or weekends. The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area, with sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, frequent repetitive motion of the hands/wrists involved. May be required to deal with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity. Exposure to infectious disease, body fluids, odors, and dust. Will be working with a variety of general rehab equipment.
MRHS offers retention pay to individuals who have worked at the facility for greater than one year.
