Technician

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Technician to join a growing Commercial Dishwasher Service Team in the North Austin area.

In this role, youll be working alongside experienced technicians to service and maintain commercial dishwashers in restaurants. This is a great opportunity for someone who isnt afraid to put in the effort and is looking to build a long-term career with growth potential. The ideal candidate will be dependable, eager to learn, and motivated to grow into a technician role with significant earning potential.

As a Technician/Trainee, youll be responsible for:

• Assisting technicians with the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial dishwashers

• Loading, unloading, and moving equipment and tools

• Learning hands-on technical skills from experienced team members

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

• Supporting delivery, installation, and general field operations

• Demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn the trade

• Experience: 34+ years of technician experience

• Tools & Skills: Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment

• License & Credentials: Valid drivers license with a clean MVR (no pending tickets)

• Background Check: Ability to pass a clean background check

• CDL Requirement: Ability to obtain a CDL endorsed by the company

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

• Environment: Comfortable working in restaurant environments

• Language: Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus! (Bilingual candidates encouraged)

• Mindset: Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and a desire to grow into a technician role

• Starting Pay: $20/hour

• Massive Earning Potential: Most first-year employees earn $60,000$80,000

• Fast-Track Career Growth: Able to get promoted to technician as soon as 612 months. Within 312 months (once license is passed), eligible candidates can move to a base salary of $60,000 + commissions!

• Paid CDL Certification: CDL License C will be provided and paid for, with study materials provided.
