Responsibilities:
Repair, install, maintain, calibrate and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation
Complete all required paperwork on new equipment inspections and equipment repairs and failures accurately and on time
Properly maintain company issued equipment
Maintain expected productivity according to productivity and billing requirements
Stay current with new products and new technologies in the biomedical industry
Communicate job status to management
Requirements:
Strong demonstrable technical troubleshooting ability
Working knowledge of electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics and hydraulic theories and practices
Understanding of and ability to operate specialized test equipment used on medical equipment
Broad knowledge base of various hospital/homecare medical equipment
Excellent computer skills including proficiency with (MS-Windows, MS-Office Suites)
Adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on results
Physically able to fulfill job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs., using small tools and BMET equipment
Associate’s degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology (or successful completion of the military BMET school)
