Summary
Receives, stores, tracks, kits, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting production requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Review schedules, work orders, pick lists, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine material requirements.
- Receive, move, store, organize, and distribute materials and inventory to designated production or storage areas.
- Fill material requests, kit parts, assemble orders, and deliver stock to production, packing, or shipping areas.
- Label and arrange inventory, create storage bins as needed, and properly store perishable materials.
- Monitor consumable inventory levels and expiration dates and report replenishment needs to the Stores Lead.
- Record material receipts and distributions and maintain accurate inventory transactions in company systems.
- Enter pick-list information to ensure inventory adjustments, shortages, and material requirements are accurately tracked.
- Process incoming containers and maintain organized storage for efficient material retrieval.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Experience with inventory control, material handling, warehousing, stores, or manufacturing operations.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, pick lists, safety requirements, procedures, and related documentation.
- Basic computer/data-entry skills with strong attention to inventory accuracy and organization.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, time management, and customer-service skills.
- Successful completion of required pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
May be required to operate a company vehicle. A valid
Washington State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record are required when applicable. Periodic driving-record reviews may be required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment and frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and close vision.
