Job Summary
TheSeismicProjectCoordinatorwillsupportandcoordinatemultipleseismicconstructionprojectsfocusedprimarilyonMEPapplications.Thisrolewillhelpfacilitateengineeringdeliverablesforseismicbracingdelegateddesigns,manageprojectdocumentation,trackschedules,andcoordinatewithsalesteams,contractors,engineers,andotherprojectstakeholders.
Thisisanexcellentopportunityforanearly-careercandidatewithaConstructionManagementorMechanicalEngineeringdegree.Candidateswith0-2yearsofexperience,includingrecentcollegegraduates,areencouragedtoapply.
Job Duties
  • Trackprojectprogresstoensureengineeringdeliverablesandmaterialsmeetprojecttimelinesandrequirements.
  • Coordinatetheengineeringdesignprocessandmanageprojectmilestones.
  • Processsubcontracts,purchaseorders,invoices,andmaterialreleases.
  • Maintainandorganizeconstructiondrawings,specifications,submittals,schedulesofvalues,andotherprojectdocumentation.
  • Coordinatewithinternalsalesteams,vendors,clients,distributors,subcontractors,andengineers.
  • Compileprojectstatusreports,milestonetracking,andotherprojectmetrics.
  • Providetechnicalandcoordinationsupporttoclientsandinternalteams.
  • Workcloselywithcustomersprimarilythroughmeetingsandcommunicationfromtheoffice.
  • UtilizeMicrosoftOffice,particularlyExcel,totrackandmanageprojectinformation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor'sdegreeinConstructionManagement,MechanicalEngineering,ProjectManagement,orarelatedfieldpreferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, engineering, or a similar project support role. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Abilitytoread,interpret,andnavigatecommercialconstructiondrawingsandarchitectural/MEPspecifications.
  • Foundationalunderstandingofconstructionmethods,materials,andworkflows.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Candidates should be comfortable using formulas, pivot tables, and other Excel functions.
  • Strongorganizational,analytical,andcommunicationskills.
  • Excellentattentiontodetailandabilitytomanagemultiplepriorities.
  • Customer-focused,collaborative,andadaptable.
  • Comfortableworkinginanoffice-basedenvironment100%ofthetime.
  • Mustbewillingtoworkonsite5daysperweekinAurora,IL.
  • Localcandidatespreferred;relocationisnotoffered.
Schedule
  • Monday-Friday,primarily8:30AM-5:00PM.
  • Someflexibilitywithstart/endtimesmaybeavailableduetoworkingwithWestCoastclients.
  • This is a fully onsite position in Aurora, IL. Occasional work-from-home flexibility may be available for emergencies or specific circumstances.
