About the Role

We're looking for a Purchasing and Logistics Specialist to own local purchasing and vendor management and to keep our supplies stocked and ready. You'll make sure sales and warehouse operations always have what they need, catch delays before they cause problems, and work closely with our accounting, warehouse and HQ teams. This is a full-time, on-site position at our office in Carlstadt, New Jersey, reporting to our Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing of local supplies, including USBs, printed InBody result sheets, and pallets
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast supply needs to prevent backorders
  • Source vendors, compare quotes, and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
  • Maintain purchasing logs, shipping allocations, and vendor performance data
  • Partner with accounting, warehouse, and HQ procurement teams on purchase orders and PO management
  • Own our cost comparison tools and update them every six months
  • Flag potential shipping delays, documentation gaps, or pricing issues before they affect operations
  • Help write and improve SOPs for purchasing and inventory workflows
  • Support logistics planning during quarter-end and urgent shipment periods

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, procurement, or operations
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with a high level of accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or another ERP system
  • Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and cost tracking
  • Clear, confident communication with internal teams and outside vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with cost analysis or vendor performance reviews
  • Exposure to shipping workflows (UPS, LTL; international experience a plus)
  • Bilingual in Korean and English

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs; some hands-on warehouse work is involved

Pay Rate Range:

  • $70,000.00- $80,000.00per year
