Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals who require care and assistance within their home. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by providing personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring the safety and well-being of your client at all time. Responsibilities

1)Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, while respecting their dignity, privacy, and personal preferences.

2)Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their medication at the appropriate time.

3) Mobility Assistance: Provide physical assistance and support to clients with mobility challenges, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids such as walkers or wheelchairs.

4) Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, activities, and hobbies to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being.

5) Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions, preferences, and client requirements, ensuring a balanced and healthy diet.

6)Housekeeping: Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living spaces, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.

7)Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, grocery shopping, and other activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation.

8)Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with office staff to provide updates on the client's condition, progress, and any concerns, as well as any scheduling issues or emergencies.

9)Record-Keeping & Electronic Visit Verification: Document and maintain accurate records of client care, including daily activities, assigned tasks, any client requests, and any significant observations or changes in the client’s condition.

10)Safety and Emergency Preparedness: Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly, following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

11)Respect and Professionalism: Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions with clients, their families, office staff, and other healthcare professionals. Show up to scheduled shifts on time and with a positive attitude.

Schedule: Part-Time

M-F (3 hours a day)

Requirements:

- Must hold a valid drivers license and active auto insurance.

- Must be willing to transport clients.

- Experience in senior care, assisted living, or working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities.

- Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients.

- Capability to perform heavy lifting if needed.

- CPR certification and active TB Test
