Shifts:1st Shift 8am -4:30pm
Pay:$18/hr
Job Responsibilities
- Perform various duties including moving stacks of product
- Using pick-to-light programs or voice-activated equipment
- Filling orders to a route, loading and unloading trucks
- Maintains a clean, safe, and secure working environment
- Works cooperatively with co-workers
- Notifies a supervisor if there are issues with overages or shortages or quality products
- Reach-down tray stacks of bread, muffins & bagels, & arrange product for efficient loading and operations
- Daily processing of required paperwork, including inputting any adjustments, shorts, overages, and verifying loads to account for all products, and utilizing computer applications
- Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- This position requires a general understanding of generally accepted warehouse principles
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must have 1 year of shipping or warehouse experience preferred
- Must be able to push and pull
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb, and twist
- Stack and carry trays, push, pull stacks of product
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or equivalent is preferred but not required.
