Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Audio Visual Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of AV systems including TV's, sound systems, video conferencing setups, and smart home/business technology. You will work in both residential and commercial environments to deliver high-quality AV experiences. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, setting up and operating electronic equipment, and coordinating with clients
Responsibilities - Install, configure, and test AV equipment such as displays, speakers, projectors, control systems and wiring
- Preform on-site system integration, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs
- Educate clients on systems use and basic troubleshooting on their installed equipment
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces and work vehicles
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies
Requirements- Proven experience as AV technician or similar role
- Solid understanding of AV systems, components, and cabling standards (HDMI, Cat6, fiber, etc.)
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
PreferredQualifications- Experience in networking and IP-based systems
- Basic programming knowledge for control systems
- Pay is negotiable based on qualifications and background
