Step into a rewarding Speech-Language Pathologist position providing essential services to students ranging from preschool through 12th grade. Support approximately 75 students at each school, each presenting unique speech and language needs, and help enrich their educational experiences by fostering improved communication skills. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Indiana (or eligibility)
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, from preschool through high school
- Comfortable assessing and serving students with varying levels of communication challenges, including articulation, language disorders, fluency, voice, and social pragmatics
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Collaborative spirit for working across multidisciplinary educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students preschool to 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that align with student IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student success
- Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning and goals
- Offer resources and ideas to caregivers and teachers for carryover of strategies
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
