Beverage Merchandiser

About the Role:

As a Beverage Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in ensuring that beverage products are optimally displayed and stocked in retail locations across Smith County and surrounding Counties. Your primary objective will be to enhance product visibility and availability, thereby driving sales and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with retail store personnel and sales teams to execute merchandising plans that align with brand standards and promotional strategies. This role requires a proactive approach to inventory management, shelf organization, and market trend analysis to maintain competitive positioning. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the growth and success of the beverage brand within the retail trade industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic knowledge of retail merchandising principles and inventory management.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a merchandiser or in retail sales, preferably within the beverage or consumer packaged goods industry.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory tracking software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of beverage product categories and market trends.

Responsibilities:

• Visit assigned retail stores regularly to stock, organize, and maintain beverage product displays according to company guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the supply chain and sales teams to prevent stockouts.
• Ensure all promotional materials and signage are properly placed and up to date to maximize product visibility.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to facilitate smooth merchandising operations.
• Report on sales trends, competitor activity, and store conditions to inform strategic merchandising decisions.

Skills:

The required skills such as communication and inventory management are essential for coordinating with store staff and ensuring product availability.
