Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various grinding machines including surface grinders, manual grinders, CNC grinders, ID grinders, and OD/ID grinding machines.
- Perform deburring tasks to ensure smooth finishes on machined parts.
- Conduct precision measurement and inspection of finished products to meet quality standards.
- Execute machine setups for production runs, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and requirements.
- Utilize shop math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in deburring and grinding operations a plus.
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid shop math skills for accurate calculations.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
