Position Summary
We are seeking experiencedDispatchersto join our team in Horsham, PA. This position plays a critical role in coordinating daily service operations, optimizing technician schedules, and ensuring customers receive timely, reliable service.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with technicians and customers, and can balance changing priorities while maintaining an organized and efficient dispatch board. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another residential home-services environment is strongly preferred.
This is a fully onsite position in Horsham, PA. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
What You'll Do
Dispatching & Schedule Management
- Schedule and dispatch service calls to technicians to maximize efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the dispatch board in real time, optimizing routes, minimizing downtime, and adjusting schedules as priorities change.
- Follow Dispatching for Profits and priority scheduling guidelines to assign the appropriate technician to each job.
- Coordinate return visits for parts-related jobs and ensure outstanding work is completed promptly.
- Debrief technicians following service calls and ensure timely job completion and payment collection.
Communication & Customer Service
- Maintain consistent communication with technicians throughout the day via phone, email, and text.
- Proactively notify customers of schedule changes and coordinate rescheduling when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure accurate call booking and seamless communication.
- Address customer concerns professionally and work toward timely resolutions.
Operational Coordination
- Partner with Purchasing and Warehouse teams to coordinate parts availability and delivery.
- Support field operations by reinforcing safety practices and company standards.
- Identify scheduling challenges and work collaboratively to improve daily operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have 1+ years of dispatching experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or residential home services.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to remain professional and composed under pressure.
- Strong follow-through and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using ServiceTitan or similar dispatching software.
- Familiarity with technician scheduling, route optimization, and service-call prioritization.
- Bilingual communication skills.
Schedule
Full-time position with rotating shifts and weekend coverage. Specific shift assignments and schedules may vary based on business needs.
- Shifts available between 7 AM to 10 PM, 4/10 hour shifts or 5/8 hour shifts available.
- Work arrangement: 100% onsite in Horsham, PA. No remote or hybrid options.
