THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Project Engineer, you'll support the project team from startup through closeout, helping ensure information is accurate, organized, and communicated to the right people at the right time.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients, you'll play an important role in project coordination and documentation while gaining the experience needed to continue growing your construction career.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Coordinate project information and communication between field and office teams
  • Maintain RFI logs and help ensure questions are answered and communicated to project stakeholders
  • Log, transmit, track, and distribute submittals
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of owner and project correspondence
  • Coordinate subcontractor maintenance of as-built documents
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation and document control
  • Support subcontract administration and project tracking
  • Monitor productivity and assist with project reporting
  • Support Pavilion's quality assurance practices and procedures
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to address project needs and keep work moving forward
  • Build your project management skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and increasing responsibility
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Experience supporting construction projects in a Project Engineer or similar role
  • Working knowledge of RFIs, submittals, as-builts, and construction document control
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents, plans, and specifications
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deadlines
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with field teams, project management, subcontractors, and design partners
  • Proficiency with construction project management software and Microsoft Office
  • A desire to continue learning and developing toward greater project management responsibility
