EHC is looking for a Production Worker I for a Client in the Houston Area


Status: Full-Time
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Schedule: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Overview

Candidates must be able to continuously lift pails weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift.

Overtime may be required based on operational needs.

The Production Worker I is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing, assembly, and preparation of products for shipment. Duties include producing finished goods, working with products received from machines and vendors, supporting assembly operations, packaging completed products, organizing inventory for shipment, and performing basic quality checks to ensure products and loads meet established standards. This is an on-site, hourly position. Additional hours may be required during peak production periods and year-end operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all established workplace policies, safety procedures, quality standards, process documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain quality standards by verifying product quantity and quality according to specifications.
  • Assist production personnel in accordance with work instructions and production requirements.
  • Operate and complete tasks on basic electronic machinery and equipment.
  • Produce the required quantity of parts while meeting established specifications and tolerances.
  • Properly use basic hand tools and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Assemble, package, and prepare materials and products as required.
  • Organize and prepare finished goods for shipment.
  • Provide general production support, perform basic equipment adjustments and maintenance, and complete routine cleaning duties.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled. Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively. Occasional physical activities include using hands and fingers to operate equipment, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a production environment.
  • Basic computer usage may be required.
  • Must possess adequate visual abilities, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
