What You’ll Do

As a Community Engagement DSP, you’ll spend your day out in the community helping the individuals we support participate in activities they enjoy and explore new experiences.

Your day might include:

• Going to parks, libraries, museums, restaurants, shopping centers, or community events
• Supporting individuals while they try new activities and develop new interests
• Encouraging independence and helping people reach their personal goals
• Building genuine friendships and positive relationships
• Helping individuals become more comfortable and connected within their community
• Participating in fun activities, outings, and everyday adventures
• Providing encouragement, companionship, and support
• Helping create meaningful experiences and great memories

No two days are exactly alike, and that’s part of what makes this position so rewarding!

What We’re Looking For

Youdo not need previous experienceworking with individuals with intellectual disabilities. We will provide training to the right person.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Responsible and safety-minded
• Comfortable spending time in the community and participating in activities
• Someone who genuinely enjoys helping others

Requirements

• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Must have a clean driving record for the past three years
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must be available Monday–Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
• Ability to safely transport and accompany individuals in the community as required
