Starting Salary Range: $65,000-67,000
The Role:The SNAP Enrollment Senior Associate will play a critical role in Project Bread’s mission to end hunger, working to increase SNAP participation and help people navigate the application process from first screening through enrollment and beyond. This bilingual role will work in the East Boston community providing in-person enrollment assistance at health centers and social services organizations, and behind the scenes, tracking applications through the Department of Transportation (DTA) online portal, and helping clients keep their cases moving forward. The Senior Associate will also serve as a front-line connection between Project Bread and the community, promoting SNAP awareness through outreach, workshops, and partnerships with community organizations. The ideal candidate is just as comfortable helping a client through a hard conversation as they are sitting on hold with DTA, tenaciously following up until an application goes through. They can manage their caseload independently, catching the details that keep cases moving, and bring what they hear in the field back to the team.

Additional RequirementsWorking Location: All employees are currently working a hybrid remote and in-office model and are expected to spend at least some time in the office each week. The SNAP Enrollment Senior Associate will work onsite at community locations across East Boston 3-4 days a week, primarily at NeighborHealth and Project Bread’s office.
