Our client, a well established boutique law firm in Plano, Texas, is adding a Legal Administrative Assistant to support two attorneys due to continued growth in litigation volume. This is a full time, 100% onsite direct hire opportunity working within a collaborative, long tenured team that values professionalism, initiative, organization, and follow through.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable coordinating multiple moving pieces, and proactive about keeping matters on track. Prior law firm experience is helpful but not required. The firm is open to candidates with strong administrative backgrounds who are eager to learn their processes and grow within the role.

Legal Administrative Assistant RoleSupport two attorneys with day to day administrative and case coordination needs
Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, mediators, and court personnel
Follow up with attorneys and outside parties to keep matters moving and ensure outstanding items are completed
Coordinate mediations, meetings, depositions, and other litigation related events
Manage calendars, deadlines, and scheduling
Track agreed judgments and coordinate documents with opposing counsel
Prepare correspondence and assist with form based pleadings and legal documents
Assist with electronic filing and other litigation related administrative tasks
Prepare monthly matter status reports
Answer incoming calls and provide general administrative support
Initially shadow and train under the firm's senior Legal Assistant to learn the firm's processes and procedures
Proactively assist other team members as workloads fluctuate
Legal Administrative Assistant Background ProfileRequired
Administrative support, legal administrative, legal secretary, or similar professional office experience
Strong organizational and calendar management skills
Professional verbal and written communication
Excellent attention to detail and follow through
Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep tasks moving without constant direction
Proactive, dependable, and willing to learn
Ability to learn and follow established processes
Comfortable working independently while remaining highly collaborative
Professional presentation and demeanor
Comfortable working 100% onsite
Preferred
Previous law firm or legal administrative experience
Experience coordinating calendars, meetings, mediations, or other deadline driven activities
Experience with electronic court filings or legal documents
Litigation exposure is helpful but not required
Property tax law experience is a plus but not required
