Responsibilities:- Educate patients and recommend appropriate lenses, lens treatments, and frames.
- Take accurate measurements and assist with eyewear selection.
- Order lenses from optical laboratories.
- Process insurance claims and related paperwork.
- Inspect completed lab work for accuracy.
- Notify patients when orders are ready.
- Perform eyeglass repairs and adjustments.
- Provide friendly and professional patient service.
- Maintain accurate records and complete computer-based tasks.
Qualifications:- Previous experience in the optical field.
- Knowledge of frames, lenses, measurements, and optical products.
- Comfortable using computers and electronic health record systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organizational and data-entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and professional.
- Comfortable working with basic mathematics.
