Claremore, OK AreaPay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour DOEFull-Time | Direct Hire Opportunity

System One is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a growing client in the Claremore area. This position is ideal for someone with accounting, accounts receivable, or accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Review sales orders, contracts, and pricing information for accuracy.
• Record and apply customer payments including checks, ACH, credit cards, and wire transfers.
• Monitor customer accounts and identify payment discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and customer correspondence.

Collections & Customer Communication

• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Send account statements and payment reminders as needed.
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing questions, disputes, and account inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Partner with internal departments to address and resolve account issues.

Accounts Payable

• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Respond to supplier inquiries via phone and email.
• Reconcile supplier statements within the ERP system.
• Research and resolve missing invoices related to purchase order receipts.
• Monitor supplier past-due accounts and communicate concerns to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or General Accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Epicor, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
