Jim's Steaks in Springfield, PA is looking for a friendly and energetic Counter Worker to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the counter in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and process transactions at the register
- Prepare and assemble menu items according to order specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized counter and work area throughout the shift
- Restock supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests with a positive attitude
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous counter service, food service, or customer-facing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
