Our client, a well-established, privately held organization with a global presence, is seeking a Controller to provide financial leadership across a significant and complex business operation. This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance leader with strong controlling, FP& A, financial planning, and business partnering experience who enjoys working closely with senior leadership and driving business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own P& L, working capital, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance
- Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and performance management
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Drive process, reporting, and systems improvements across the finance function
- Maintain strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to U.S. GAAP and applicable accounting standards
- Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
- Experience leading finance teams
- Strong FP& A, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Strong U.S. GAAP and controls knowledge
- ERP and advanced Excel experience
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, CMA, or MBA
- IFRS and/or international finance exposure
- Working capital or cost accounting experience
- Multi-entity or global organization experience
