After Hours Custodian

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM up to 10:00 PM

About the Role

Genesis Housings is looking for a dependable and detailoriented Evening Janitorial team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility. This role is essential to ensuring our students, staff, and guests enjoy a healthy environment every day.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and shared areas
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies
• Perform basic floor care (experience preferred)
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor
• Lock and secure the building after shift completion
• Complete additional cleaning tasks as assigned

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required. A minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a similar service related position preferred but not required.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and chemical labels.
