Position Summary
As part of the ESI team and broader Tech24 network, the Foodservice Technician plays a critical role in servicing commercial cooking (hot side) equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems, minimizing customer downtime, and representing the company with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations
- Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system
- Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers
- Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial foodservice repair experience
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
