Job Description:
Vision Life is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in an on-call capacity. This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes and community settings
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support clients in achieving personal goals and maintaining independence
- Follow individualized care plans (IPP/ISP)
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Requirements:
- Must be available on short notice, including weekdays and weekends
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
- Previous experience in caregiving or DSP role is a plus, but not required
