PART-TIME FACILITIES MANAGER – CHURCH
Location: Lexington, KY
Schedule: Part-Time – Approximately 20–25 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Part-Time Facilities Manager to help maintain and oversee the church campus. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, organized, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee general maintenance and upkeep of the church and facilities
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance as needed
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
- Monitor building systems and report maintenance issues
- Assist with room setups and breakdowns for church events and activities
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Perform light cleaning and grounds maintenance as needed
- Keep track of maintenance needs, supplies, and projects
- Ensure facilities are ready for services, meetings, and special events
- Respond to facility-related needs in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Previous facilities, maintenance, custodial, or building management experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Comfortable performing basic repairs and maintenance
- Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks as needed
