Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals to patients, residents, or clients according to dietary guidelines and individual needs

- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe, sanitary, and appealing manner

- Follow prescribed dietary plans and communicate any special dietary requirements or restrictions to the kitchen staff

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas and equipment

- Support dietary staff in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

- Provide courteous and respectful service to patients and staff, addressing any dietary concerns or questions

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in food service, healthcare, or a related field preferred

- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and dietary guidelines

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
