1st Shift Warehouse Associate

$21 an hour +overtime-Contract to Hire
This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a safe and clean workspace, and supports efficient warehouse operations to meet customer and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Unload, sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Verify shipping documents, packing slips, and inventory transactions.
- Load outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Follow company safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or operational issues to management.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
