Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments and provide correct change
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves, inventory, and general store upkeep as needed
- Resolve customer questions or concerns promptly and courteously
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available for flexible scheduling including weekends as needed
