Our attorneys excel in both bargaining and adversarial settings, using their experience, judgment and skill to secure the best possible outcome for our clients.

We are seeking a Legal Assistant that will perform a combination of billable legal project work and non-billable administrative functions.

Essential duties will include but not limited to:

  • document preparation and review
  • preparation of indexes, chronologies and case summaries
  • assist with discovery preparation
  • draft routine pleadings, notices, correspondence, declarations, discovery and agency forms such as with the NLRB and PERB
  • binder assembly for trials and arbitrations
  • assist paralegals in locating supporting evidence and records
  • back-up docket/calendar
  • prepare proofread and finalize documents

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years on job experience in a legal assistant role, including compliance with Cal. Bus. and Prof. Code 6450
  • Demonstrated knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirements
  • Ability to prepare legal documents with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, analytical and writing skills
  • Experience maintaining billable time records
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management systems and e-filing platforms
